AT&T Field, Chattanooga, TN
First game of the tour was an exciting one; the challenging Mobile Bay Bears get way behind the Lookouts in the 3rd inning, charged with 4 errors during their frame while the Lookouts scored 7 runs (none earned). Craziest play of the night was during this inning, where the Lookouts sent Corey Smith all the way home from 1B and 3 BayBears at the plate still couldn't keep Matt Wallach from crossing home plate on a 2-6-2-5-1 snafu play... The shutout ended in the 8th, when Rubby DeLaRosa gave up back-to-back singles to start the inning, both scored.
MOB 2 6 4
CHA 10 11 3
The official scorer ruled Mobile's Jake Elmore's single a hit, I called it an error...SS Dee Gordon could have made that play when he was in T-Ball.
